ALAMEDA — The Raiders dropped two members of their 2015 draft class and bid farewell to free agent quarterback Christian Ponder when they trimmed their roster on Saturday.
Oakland cut 20 players, including sixth-round pick Max Valles and seventh-rounder Anthony Morris, and also placed safety Brandian Ross on injured reserve. Add that to Friday’s trade of Sio Moore and Oakland is at the current 53-man limit.
The Raiders had no media availability on Saturday, so there was no immediate reaction from coach Jack Del Rio or any players.
Nothing about this roster screams that it’s complete though.
