DENVER — Two weeks ago, in Oakland’s home opener, wide receiver Michael Crabtree caught three touchdown passes from Derek Carr to propel the Raiders to a resounding 45-20 victory over the New York Jets.

On Sunday, as the Raiders play their first AFC West opponent this season, Carr will not have the option of throwing to Crabtree.

Crabtree, nursing a chest injury sustained last week against Washington, was among the players designated as inactive for Sunday’s Raiders-Broncos game in Denver. Cornerback Gareon Conley (shin injury) also will not suit up for the game.

The other Raiders inactives: quarterback Connor Cook, defensive back Keith McGill, offensive tackles Jylan Ware and David Sharpe and defensive tackle Darius Latham.
