A surprising sight at the Raiders’ preseason opener Friday was cornerback Gareon Conley going through pregame warm-ups in full uniform.
Conley, who’d been recovering from a hip strain, did not play against the Lions. He did return to practice Monday for the first time since he was injured on the first day of training camp.
Although the Raiders limited Conley’s activity in his first padded practice, head coach Jon Gruden said he thought Conley was moving around “pretty good.
