Raiders’ cornerback Amik Robertson getting on the job training

After being thrust into action because of an injury crisis, second-year Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Amik Robertson is showing signs he could be a productive player.

Robertson started his first NFL game Sunday in a 20-9 Raiders’ home loss to the Chicago Bears. While had his moments of inexperience, Robertson played pretty well in the game and showed the situation isn’t too big for him.

Robertson also played decently in a limited role in a Week 4 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers. With both starter Trayvon Mullen (foot) and key backup Damon Arnette (groin) on the injured reserve after they got hurt against the Chargers, Robertson will be playing a key role for, at least, the immediate future.
