Raiders complete overhaul of wide receiving corps with release of Seth Roberts

It seemed inevitable the Raiders would release Seth Roberts this offseason. He was due $4.8 million with no dead money if cut. Then they started signing wide receivers and clearing cap by cutting other players. Roberts lasted longer than most expected. But in the end he too was among those let go by the Raiders.

The former undrafted free agent spent five seasons with the Raiders, appearing in 62 games with 25 starts. In that time he caught 158 passes for 1826 yards and 13 touchdowns, typically from the slot. And was one hell of a downfield blocker.
