The 2018 Oakland Raiders have a brand new head coach, as Jon Gruden returns to the sidelines to finish his business with the franchise. Gruden helped turn the organization around in the early 2000s, thanks to a tremendous coaching staff back then. One of those coaches was offensive coordinator Bill Callahan, who would lead the Raiders to the Super Bowl the year after Gruden was dealt to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fast forward 16 years, and there is going to be a Callahan stalking Gruden’s sideline once again. While that Callahan is not Bill, the Raiders brought in the closest thing to him, signing his son to be their quarterback’s coach.
