Raiders claim Keenan Lambert off waivers from Seahawks

The Raiders did a little scouting during their exhibition finale and on Sunday picked up Seattle Seahawks safety Keenan Lambert.

Lambert, who played 31 snaps and had four tackles against the Raiders on Thursday, was an undrafted free agent out of Norfolk State that the Seahawks signed in May.

When the Raiders announced their initial 53-man roster Saturday and included just four safeties, it was rather clear they would look to bring someone in. It’s likely one of the seven cornerbacks will be cut to make room for Lambert. It’s also quite likely they could still look for more secondary help.
