Never mind those nine quarters without Derek Carr, the Raiders offense was dynamic last season, finishing sixth in the league in total offense. There were areas to nitpick, such as a ground game that was abandoned at times and the lack of a reliable third receiving option.
While defense seemed like it would be the biggest off-season concern, the Raiders instead beefed up their offensive personnel and should be among the league’s most feared units. So long as Carr doesn’t endure another freak injury, plenty of points should be piling up.
