To help a beat-up secondary, the Las Vegas Raiders are bringing back a familiar name. The Athletic reported on Tuesday that the team will sign Daryl Worley.
Worley must pass the NFL’s COVID-19 protocol before practicing and playing. The Worley move isn’t official, so the Raiders won’t have to remove a player from the roster yet.
Worley played for the Raiders for the past two seasons and he started 24 games. However, the Raiders did not make him a free-agent priority and they added other players at the position.
Worley ended up with the Dallas Cowboys and he was replaced in October.
