ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders have signed cornerback Chimdi Chekwa.

The team announced the move Wednesday to bring back Chekwa following a brief stint in New England.

Chekwa spent four seasons with the Raiders from 2011-14. He played 32 games, recording 35 defensive tackles and six passes defensed.
