Raiders beat: Linebackers struggle in early going

Leverage is important in negotiations, maybe even more so in playing defense in the NFL. The Raiders didn’t have any Sunday, and were thus dealt a rather rude loss by the visiting Bengals.

On Cincinnati’s first scoring drive alone, Oakland had defenders leaning the wrong way or not containing Bengals on four plays. On a 3rd-and-1 play, Jeremy Hill bounced outside of linebacker Ray-Ray Armstong and gained 10 yards.

Hill then scored his first of two touchdowns when he jumped outside of Armstrong and linebacker Ben Heeney.
