The Raiders and USA Football recently awarded uniform and equipment grants to 10 local youth football groups and also gave those groups tickets to Sunday’s exhibition game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Brown personally delivered tickets to the Oakland Jr. Raiders when he made a surprise appearance Thursday evening at their practice at Oakland’s Verdese Carter Park.
The grants for youth programs were $1,500 and $2,500 for high school programs. Here’s the list of those who received funds:
