While the Las Vegas Raiders got great production from backup running back Peyton Barber in a 31-28 overtime home win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, they may be getting closer to getting standout starting tailback Josh Jacobs back on the practice field.
Las Vegas coach Jon Gruden said Monday the team thinks Jacobs — who has missed the past two games with ankle and toe injuries — may practice this week. That, of course, would give him a good chance of playing in Week 4 when the 3-0 Raiders play at the Los Angeles Chargers on “Monday Night Football.
