Raiders alumni Darren McFadden sues business manager

Cowboys running back Darren Mcfadden, selected No. 4 overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, has sued his longtime business manager.

McFadden alleges that his business manager Michael Vick of Mabelvale, Arkansas (not the NFL player) mishandled millions throughout the running back’s career. The lawsuit also includes 10 unkowns.

Two days before his 2008 debute with the Raiders, Vick used faudulant documents to gain McFadden’s power of attorney and Vick later fabricated ficitious financial records to hide what he was doing, according to the lawsuit.

“Rather than securing for Plaintiff a lifetime of financial security as Defendant Vick promised Plaintiff, Defendant Vick covertly used Plaintiff’s income as his personal slush fund to subsidize his own lifestyle and expenses and to invest in his own projects,” the lawsuit said.
