The Raiders gave their offensive line some protection Friday, signing Ian Silberman, whom they released in preseason, from the Browns’ practice squad.
Pro Bowl left tackle Donald Penn and backup guard/center Jon Feliciano were both placed on injured reserve, while starting center Rodney Hudson (ankle/illness) missed his second practice after playing through a kidney stone last weekend against the Cowboys.
Head coach Jack Del Rio expressed confidence this week that Hudson will be available Monday night against the Eagles. But the Raiders already promoted center James Stone from their practice squad Thursday and now have another backup option in Silberman.
