Raiders add two assistant coaches with Pete Carroll ties

The Las Vegas Raiders have hired two new assistant coaches, both of whom have significant connections with head coach Pete Carroll.

With offensive coordinator Chip Kelly hired on Sunday, the Raiders were able to begin the process of building a staff around him to help rebuild the offense.

On Monday, the Raiders agreed to deals with two assistants to help out.

The first is a name familiar to Raiders fans, as former offensive coordinator Greg Olson has returned for a third stint with the organization. According to The Athletic’s Michael Silver and Vic Tafur, Olson will serve as quarterbacks coach.
