ALAMEDA — The Raiders made adjustments to their initial 53-man roster Sunday, claiming tackles T.J. Clemmings (Washington) and Justin Murray (Cincinnati) while releasing David Sharpe and Ian Silberman.
Clemmings played in six games with Washington and had two starts last year under coach Jon Gruden’s brother Jay before going on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He started 30 games in 2015-16 for the Minnesota Vikings after being a fourth-round pick out of Pittsburgh.
Signed by Denver as an undrafted free agent in 2016, Murray, 25, never caught on in Denver and was signed to practice squads in Tampa Bay and New Orleans before landing on the practice squad of the Bengals.
