Raiders add former Chip Kelly running back

The Las Vegas Raiders have started the process of adding to their running back room.

On Thursday, according to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz, the Raiders signed a one-year deal with former Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert worth $2.1 million.

Mostert asserted himself as a quality running back after running for 1,012 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns, securing Pro Bowl honors. However, the Dolphins drafted De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright early in back-to-back years, leading to Mostert getting pushed out of the rotation. Despite Mostert’s advanced age (he is soon going to be 33 years old), he still has the juice to be an asset to an NFL backfield.
