ALAMEDA — The Raiders activated cornerback Daryl Worley to the active roster Saturday and released defensive end Tank Carradine in advance of their Week 5 road game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Worley served a four-game suspension after violating the NFL policy on substance abuse stemming from an April incident in Philadelphia when he was found by police intoxicated and asleep at the wheel of his car.
A 6-foot-1, 205-pound cornerback, Worley has played in 31 games with 25 starts for the Carolina Panthers before being traded to Philadelphia in exchange for wide receiver Torrey Smith. The Eagles released Worley following the arrest.
