NAPA – The Raiders activated receiver Rod Streater off the non-football illness list on Sunday, in time for that morning’s practice.
Streater missed 11 practices and Friday’s preseason opener with an undisclosed illness, but was on the mend over the last week. A league source told CSN California last week lost some weight and conditioning during his illness, so he spent some time getting back in proper shape.
Streater targeted a return this week, and his presence at Sunday’s practice offers a real possibility he could play Saturday’s exhibition at Minnesota. He’ll have four practices to get re-acclimated to training camp.
