With the injuries to starting safeties Nate Allen and Charles Woodson, the Raiders needed some help. They signed Taylor Mays this week to fill one of those spots, and now they have activated safety Tevin McDonald from the practice squad to fill the other spot.
McDonald was signed by the Raiders this offseason as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington and spent training camp and preseason with the team . He was among the team's final roster cuts and was placed on the practice squad prior to the start of the season.
