After Thursday night’s embarrassing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in front of a national audience, Los Angles Chargers coach Brandon Staley was asked if he thought he deserved to be the team’s leader come Friday morning.
He answered “yes.”
The Chargers’ ownership, however, did not agree. In a predictable move, the Chargers dismissed Staley, who was in his third season with the team, as head coach. They also fired general manager Tom Telesco, who was with the team since 2014.
That’s what happens was a moribund team gets blasted 63-21 by a team coming of being shutout four days earlier .
