When the Las Vegas Raiders made the surprising selection of Georgia tight end Brock Bowlers with the No. 13 overall pick in the April draft, their offense automatically changed.
The offensive coaching staff had to adjust the unexpected addition of Bowers into the offense to adjust and make him fit with 2023 second-round pick, fellow tight end Michael Mayer. Thus, the Raiders will know use much more 12 personnel offense (two tight ends and one running back and two wide receivers) than expected.
That could mean less alignments for the Raiders’ stable of wide receivers at times.
