NAPA — The Raiders held their second padded practice Monday afternoon, adding some heat to the mix with a 2:30 p.m. starting time.
They get their first day off Tuesday, by virtue of the collective bargaining agreement.
“When you get seven, eight days into training camp, the nostalgia of everything is over now,” coach Jon Gruden said. “We’ve got to do something with this opportunity.”
There was some bad news on the injury front, as cornerback Gareon Conley is facing a possible two-week absence with a hip injury.
