With the bye week in the rear view mirror, the Raiders can now strictly focus on the back half of the season.
At 2-7, it is difficult to imagine a scenario where the Raiders make the postseason. The trade that sent Davante Adams to the New York Jets was a clear indication of the organization understanding where they are.
That said, the players and coaches will not just punt the season. There are still games to be played, and something can certainly be said about finishing strong. Look at last season, where then-interim head coach Antonio Pierce rode a 5-4 record, including winning three of the final four games, to the full-time job.
