Peers, preseason work helped MIller prep for NFL debut: 'I'm ready to attack it'

ALAMEDA – Kolton Miller is from Roseville, on the northeast portion of Sacramento’s outskirts. It’s driving distance to Oakland Coliseum, and a caravan will shuttle the 106 miles to see Roseville’s native son play on Monday night.

It’s a big moment up there. Miller’s a first-round pick playing a vital position for the local team. So, as you’d expect, Miller has received some ticket requests.

“Oh, man,” Miller said. “I have friends, family, guys I hadn’t talked to in months, checking in and want to watch me play, to watch this team.”

All eyes, from Roseville and everywhere stop across Raider Nation, will be on a UCLA product charged with protecting Derek Carr’s blind side.
