Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and defensive end Khalil Mack have both been nominated for the 2016 CASTROL EDGE CLUTCH PERFORMER OF THE YEAR.
Carr set the tone early for the Oakland Raiders season, showing tremendous poise in the pocket and leading several late-game comebacks. This includes Week 12, where Carr led late-game drives to tie the Carolina Panthers and later win.
Carr isn’t the only Raider with late-game heroics. Khalil Mack was a beast for the Oakland Raiders’ defense. This season, Mack had an eight-consecutive games with at least one sack. In Week 13, he helped seal a win against the Buffalo Bills with a strip-sack and fumble recovering.
