Sunday’s season opener for the Oakland Raiders is one where everything that could have went wrong happened for the Silver and Black in a blowout loss that stunned the Raider Nation. From turnovers, defensive miscues to a long list of injuries it was one of the worst season openers in recent memory for the Raiders and it is really hard to argue that anything that came out of Week 1 was a positive for the team.
Dominated up until garbage time where they scored two second-half touchdowns, the Raiders left their season opener at the Coliseum as a team that failed to live up to the optimism that the offseason brought to Oakland.
