There is a lot to be excited about when it comes to the Oakland Raiders in 2018, as they look to begin a new Era of football. Head coach Jon Gruden returns to the sidelines as the coach of the Raiders for the first time since 2002, and he has brought with him some stellar coordinators in Paul Guenther (defense) and Greg Olson (offense).
Overall, the talent on both sides of the ball improved this offseason, as the defense actually has talent on all three levels for the first time in years. While Khalil Mack is gone, there are players still here who are Pro Bowl caliber guys, and they are not going to let Mack’s absence be an excuse for them this season.
