The Oakland Raiders held three first round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft, and instead of trading away the draft capital for more picks, or to move up, they decided to hang on to them, and select in the original draft slots. With those picks, Oakland brought in elite talent on both sides of the ball, including a tremendous edge rusher in Clelin Ferrell, and the best prospects at their positions in running back Josh Jacobs, and safety Johnathan Abram.
In the second round, the Raiders brought in more defensive backfield help, adding another Clemson Tigers player in cornerback Trayvon Mullen.
