After a relatively healthy preseason, the Oakland Raiders suffered their first major loss of 2015 as tackle Menelik Watson suffered what is believed to be a ruptured Achilles’ tendon during the first quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Following his departure from the game, the former Florida State Seminole took to social media to share his diagnosis.
Ruptured Achilles' tendon... I Will be back stronger than ever that's a promise. Main thing is supporting the team right now. #RaiderNation

During his postgame press conference, Head Coach Jack Del Rio was asked about the loss of his presumed starting right tackle.
