One of the wilder parts of one of the wildest games in the recent history of the Oakland Raiders was the absence of the team’s long snapper in Jon Condo at the game’s most crucial moment. Condo being unavailable right as the Raiders were set to go for a PAT attempt following Mychal Rivera’s touchdown catch to give Oakland a 15-12 lead over the Broncos.
Condo suffered an injury just plays before when he recovered a muffed Broncos punt to set the Raiders up in scoring position, and when Derek Carr found Rivera in the endzone on 3rd and 15, Condo was nowhere to be found as he was having his shoulder popped back into place to remain in the game.
