After cutting Walt Powell after a few short-lived weeks with the team, the Oakland Raiders have brought in yet another candidate for the return specialist job. Bringing in another journeyman who hopes that the vacancy with the Silver and Black can lead to longterm employment in the NFL.
Veteran return specialist Marcus Thigpen has been given the rotating opportunity to join the Raiders roster as the 29-year-old who has spent time in a long list of NFL cities as well as with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL will try to stick around in Oakland in an audition for the return job.
