ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. has released his mock draft of 2016, and the pick that Kiper has the Oakland Raiders making with their 14th overall pick may be in a surprising position for some. Kiper Jr. projecting that the Raiders could go for offensive line help rather than to do what is expected and address their glaring need in the secondary.
Kiper Jr. has the Raiders selecting a left tackle with their 14th pick, replacing Donald Penn who is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. A move that would give the team youth in the trenches, but would be ignoring several holes in pass coverage.
