The kick return carousel continues to spin in Alameda as the Oakland Raiders have made another roster move on special teams, this time ending another failed experiment that never got going. General manager Reggie McKenzie and the coaching staff both going back to the drawing board in the ongoing search for a consistent returner.
On Tuesday night, it was announced that the Raiders will be releasing Walt Powell, who was only just signed in mid-October to take a chance at the return job. A job he never quite got a chance at as Powell failed to even earn a shot at during his short time with the team.
