The Oakland Raiders offense has experienced some extreme highs in their first season under Bill Musgrave, namely second year Derek Carr putting up some big numbers in the passing game. Carr and Musgrave’s offense leading fans to expect fireworks every Sunday that the Raiders step out onto the field.
So it was a surprise on Sunday at Ford Field when the Raiders offense sputtered against the 2-7 Detroit Lions. Carr and the Raiders going into the half shutout by the Detroit defense, which held the aerial attack and the ground game in check on their way to an 18-13 win over Oakland yesterday afternoon.
