The Oakland Raiders find themselves ranked the 34th most valuable sports franchise on Forbes updated release. Their value is set at $2.42 billion dollars and a 2% change from one year ago. Their operating income (profit) was $25 million, which is dramatically low compared to other franchise’s that are ranked around the same value.
To put in perspective the kind of growth the Raiders have made, in 2013 they ranked 50th with their value set at $785 million. The Raiders have never the richest franchise by any means, however, they’ve also been able to hold their own and find ways to be productive.
