The big key in getting the Oakland Raiders back on track in 2018 will be improving a vastly inferior defense. That’s where new defensive coordinator Paul Guenther comes in. Guenther comes from a system that loves to play veteran players. While inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman is on the back-nine of his NFL career, look for Guenther to want to bring Bowman back in free agency. However, Guenther needs more than just a former All-Pro with the San Francisco 49ers to reclaim this sunken ship that is the Raiders defense.
