Though it took a while, it did come together quickly when it did happen. After a few weeks with the positional vacancy, Oakland Raiders head coach has hired Brian Callahan to be his quarterbacks coach for 2018. It’s Saturday and this is the Black Hole Roll Call.
Callahan is the son of former Oakland Raiders head coach Bill Callahan. He had worked previously as the quarterbacks coach for Jim Caldwell with the Detroit Lions. Like Caldwell, Callahan was relieved from his coaching duties with the Lions after the 2017 NFL season.
All the while, the Raiders are generating a ton of buzz down at the 2018 Pro Bowl in Orlando.
