Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Justin Ellis entered his third training camp as the starter at nose tackle.
Not a small accomplishment considering he currently leads the competition at the position over 2015 free agent acquisition Dan Williams.
What lead to Ellis’ improvement?
Apparently, he worked smarter to stay in shape.
“Last year I ran so much, thinking that that was going to help me,” said Ellis via Silver and Black Pride. “But I was dead when I came to camp. Even though I had a solid camp last year, but I was dead.
