The Oakland Raiders’ secondary struggled heavily last season, as they finished the year with seventh-worst pass defense in terms of average yards per game, and unfortunately, things have only gotten worse.
Future Hall of Fame safety Charles Woodson has already announced that he will retire, as the 18-year veteran played his last game in Hawaii in the 2016 Pro Bowl. Woodson, 39, earned 74 combined tackles, nine pass deflections, and a team-high five interceptions in 2015.
Also, Oakland cut ties with former Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen just one year into his 4-year, $23 million deal on Tuesday.
