Prior to 2014, when the Oakland Raiders made Derek Carr their second round pick, the team had trotted out some terrible quarterbacks. Since Rich Gannon decided to hang up his spikes, Oakland had to roll with guys like JaMarcus Russell, Andrew Walter, Kyle Boller, and Daunte Culpepper to name a few, but it seems people have forgotten that.
Sure, Carson Palmer had his moments in the Silver and Black, and Jason Campbell led the team to some victories, but they were nothing compared to what the Raiders have had with Carr under center. Not only is he going to be the most prolific quarterback in team history before all is said and done, but he has played hurt for most of the last two seasons, which made the report on him being soft so laughable on Tuesday.
