For fans of the Silver and Black, let’s imagine the season finale took place in Week 16 when the Raiders beat the Denver Broncos 27-14 and looked like a team. This week, in another divisional matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs they looked … well, they looked the opposite. The Raiders failed to score a touchdown in a 35-3 embarrassment that gave their most hated divisional rival home-field advantage in the playoffs.
Initially, the Raiders looked promising. The defense came out swinging, putting pressure on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes almost immediately. Mahomes narrowly escaped a sack by Arden Key on the Chiefs first drive of the game, getting the ball out of his hands before being taken down by Key.
