The Oakland Raiders definitely have a need at wide receiver, after finishing the 2018 NFL season with veteran Jordy Nelson atop their depth chart. Behind Nelson was guys like Seth Roberts, Marcell Ateman, and Brandon LaFell, which certainly are not the names they want to go into 2019 with in a starting role.
Nelson is slated to be back in the Silver and Black next season, which makes sense, after finishing the 2018 season strong. With Amari Cooper shipped to Dallas for a first round draft pick, the Raiders may decide to use that pick on a wide receiver, though they may not have to wait until the 2019 NFL Draft to do so.
