The Oakland Raiders made Dexter McDonald their seventh round pick back in the 2015 NFL Draft. McDonald was not a huge prospect heading into the NFL Scouting Combine, but he wowed scouts with just how athletic he was. He outjumped the aparatus used to track your vertical leap, while running a 4.37 40-yard dash.
A product of Kansas, McDonald played sparingly his first two seasons in the league, before being thrust into a starting role for the Raiders during their 6-10 2017 campaign.
2017 Season Review
McDonald appeared in a career-high 15 games for the Raiders last season, making six starts.
