NFL Draft 2019: Oakland Raiders select Trayvon Mullen No. 40 overall

The Oakland Raiders held three picks going into the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday night, and incredibly, they did not move up or down. There had been plenty of speculation that general manager Mike Mayock could move one of the later round picks, adding more draft capital for Day 2, but that did not happen.

With the No. 4 overall pick, the Raiders finally brought in an edge rusher, selecting Clemson star Clelin Ferrell. This is a guy who fits their defensive scheme perfectly, and should be an impact player in year one along this defensive line.
