The Raiders will no longer be able to showcase their new home in April.
The NFL announced Monday that it will no longer hold the April 23-25 draft in Las Vegas because of the coronavirus crisis. The draft will go on, but not in a public manner.
The league said Las Vegas will host the event in the future. As the host team, Raiders’ owner Mark Davis released this statement:
After careful consideration, the Las Vegas Raiders, the NFL, the NFLPA and the LVCVA have decided to cancel the 2020 Las Vegas NFL Draft celebration.
