A stigmata is defined as “a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality, or person.” Typically you would assume one wouldn’t choose to have one. But not AJ McArron apparently. If the recently history of the Raiders is any indication, the veteran backup quarterback may have sealed his fate in Silver & Black.
He just chosen to wear the number 2. God help us.
That number is cursed. The Raiders don’t retire numbers, but they should probably reconsider for that number.
Not only is it, appropriately enough, a euphemism for defecation, it’s a sign of what the last three quarterbacks to wear that number have put on the field.
