Neiron Ball is making at least some progress. The Raiders’ rookie linebacker worked out on the side Wednesday as he continues to return from his knee injury.
Ball has missed the past five games since suffering the injury Oct. 25 at San Diego. It was initially expected to sideline him for about a month although it’s extended past that with coach Jack Del Rio saying Monday that he’s “still a question mark.”
Ball still isn’t back practicing and his work Wednesday was limited to agility drills along with a Raiders trainer. It would seem unlikely he could return for Sunday’s game against Kansas City, but this should be viewed as a sign of progress and maybe put him in line to return to practice sometime soon.
