The Raiders, as expected, activated Nate Allen on Saturday from the short-term injured reserve.
Allen torn his medial collateral ligament in the first quarter of the season opener to land on the designated to return injured list. He began practice Oct. 27 and became eligible to come off IR this week.
To make room on the roster, the Raiders waived kick returner Marcus Thigpen. He played in one game and had one punt return for one yard and one kick return for two yards last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
